1. Use distribution lists for direct marketing with URL in text.
2. Get by the spam filters by making sure the subject line doesn’t contain “trip” words such as “free” and make sure the email is “from” an address containing the name of the home press—“Harvard” (or “MIT”, etc.).
3. Ask to be put on the user’s “accepted” address list.
4.Establish RSS Feeds on your website where people sign on to receive feeds; not filtered at all.
