Drawing Rules in Tables

To draw the rules above and below the table column headers:

1. Select the row of text.

2. Go to Tables-->Cell options-->strokes and fills. The Cell Options dialog box will open.

3. Under Color, make sure None is selected.

4. Deselect all of the blue lines in the table "icon" (they will all turn gray and the options will be dimmed).

5. Then select the rules that you want (in this case the top and bottom rule). They will turn back to blue.
