Corrupt Personal Settings

Occasionally InDesign exhibits odd display problems (difficult to describe). To erase your personal settings (and set them back to the default):

1. Quit InDesign

2. Go to your Home directory.

3. Locate the folder at ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 4.0

4. Discard this folder.

5. Restart InDesign. The folder will be re-created (with the InDesign default settings and dictionaries).
